Many of us struggle with the idea of forgiveness. We feel sometimes that the things we’ve done are too evil to merit grace. That’s exactly what forgiveness is — “Grace” which means undeserved favor! Jesus said that all the sins of men will be forgiven (Mark 3:28). However, in order to receive the forgiveness that Jesus promises we must confess our sins to Him. 1 John 1:9 says that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Furthermore, the Bible tells us that if we hide our sins we will not succeed but if we confess our sin and reject it we will obtain mercy (Proverbs 28:13).
Receive grace today by confessing and rejecting your sin.
